Serving the citizens of Clark County efficiently and courteously, your County Sheriff's Office largely serves the rural areas of the county and assist local community departments when called upon. County Sheriff's Deputies also operate the county jail and work with local courts, and work closely with schools and community organizations on crime and drug prevention programs.
The Clark County Sheriff's Office participates in the Appriss Inc. Illinois VINELink program. The VINELink home page as well as the Illinois AVN service which is provided by the Illinois Attorney General is a statewide service designed to empower and protect crime victims while also assisting law enforcement and victim service providers. AVN/VINELink is a FREE service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide information about offender custody and case status and automatic notification (to those who register) of any change in status. The "VINEmobile" app is available for free download. You may elect to have notifications texted, telephoned or emailed. You may also view a list of recent offenders processed into the jail.
